« ‹ 1 of 8 › »

In Primary 5 the children become part of the upper school and consequently are encouraged to become more responsible and independent.

The curriculum is filled with an exciting and interesting range of topics e.g. Mighty Me, Water, Landmarks and Electricity. The children are also provided with the opportunity to participate in practical and fun filled activities throughout the year.

During the first term as part of their Physical Development the class take part in swimming sessions in Bangor Leisure Centre on Thursday mornings. In the summer term the children attend Ards Leisure Centre for gymnastics classes.

During this year, Primary 5 will be taking part in many educational trips and will have class visits from relevant outside agencies. The children are always excited about going on these trips. They look forward to the activities and a day of learning outside the classroom.
